    Consultation and assessment

    Everyone starts with a personal consultation. This allows us to get to know you and listen to your goals. Whether you’re coming to us seeking to fix back pain, shoulder pain, knee pain or want to break through a training plateau. We start with an assessment.

    Purpose: Uncover history, needs, goals, challenges, movement patterns, ranges of motion, & skill level.

    Process: Joint-by-joint movement screen, fundamental movements assessment, interview.

    Payoff: Clarity on where you are and where you want to go, setting priorities.

    Duration: 60 minute session.

    After the session, if we’re a good fit for your training, we’ll book your first personal training sessions before you head home.

  • Build phase

    Build phase

    Your first step is with personal training prior to group training. Since you’re an individual and not a group, we start with you. Here we seek to develop movement integrity; build body awareness, address imbalances and begin corrective work.

    Process: Custom 1:1 in-person training

    Payoff: Develop confidence and competence, an understanding around application movement and of intensity and how to communicate with your coach.

    Duration: 3 – 16 weeks

  • Capacity phase

    Capacity phase

    Next, we capitalize on the foundation you’ve built. Beginning to develop autonomy and progressively load to build resilient mind and body.

    Process: Proper dosing of group classes, 1:1 in-person training, custom training program.

    Payoff: Gained autonomy in base movements, elevated your skills, and are working on mastering application of intensity.

    Duration: 12 – 36 weeks

    Autonomy phase


    In this phase, we now apply built awareness, strength and skills to live a pain-free and active life.

    Process: Continuation of previous with added guidance from your coach to safely pursue and progress activities outside of the gym.

    Payoff: Able to LIVE your active athletic life safely and confidently. For some this means leaving our gym and that’s ok! Our goal is to help you achieve your true physical expression, not need us forever.

    Duration: Ongoing
