Congratulations – Alexa!
Once a month, our community votes to recognize a single member who embodies the spirit of Subversus Fitness. He/she is someone who has a good attitude, even on the toughest days, is always there to lend support to fellow athletes, and generally goes the extra mile to help build our community to become even more awesome. When it’s time to vote, we send a reminder email out to the entire crew, but if you ever see another member do something really cool for you or the gym in general, feel free to shoot us an email at info@crossfitcc.com or leave a note in the box to tell us what happened! Our Member of the Month is always awarded a FREE month of membership to Subversus.
What some of you had to say about Alexa!
“Alexa is an integral part of the > community. From making me join the 4:30 crossfit class, telling me about the wonders of Dawn Patrol, to cheerleading in the open, and to being an amazing platform buddy, Alexa has been here for me just about every step of the way at Subversus. While still in LBC I will obviously creep on the boards and consistently be impressed with her casually integrating chest to bars into the WODs, crushing some barbell cycling, and any rowing workout has her name on it. I miss the days of dueling it out when there was any sandbag workout. She is always supportive of others (coming to my meet meant everything)! I am always happy to see her face at the gym, see her focus, see her drive, and to see her brute strength! She really doesn’t know how amazing of an athlete she is.” – Emma G
“I can’t help but smile from ear to ear hearing that Alexa won member of the month! She’s one of the hardest workers I know, in and out of the gym, and a fierce friend. Her positive attitude (and incredible rowing skills) are a huge inspiration to everyone in the gym. I barely knew her, but she came to cheer me on for 18.1 live and in our first team WOD together she even offered to do more wall balls – which shows that she’s just the most amazing friend. Alexa is so supportive of others in so many ways, and I’m lucky to call her one of my best friends. Congrats Alexa!! “ – Tori
“Alexa always brings great positive vibes to the 4:30 class! She’s a great cheerleader and encourages others to try new things. Also can’t overlook that she’s crazy strong and has come a long way with her gymnastics movements in the last few months. Very well deserved member of the month! Congrats Alexa!” – Katherine
“I’m so thrilled Alexa is member of the month!! She’s the best 430 work out bud anyone could ask for – she’s always so positive and supportive of others! She really embodies the spirit of subversus. Low key, I’ve been voting for her for months… glad to see this finally happening!!” – Dan E.
“
Alexa is an amazing friend and gym-spiration. She is so strong and so humble. She crushes any wod that has rowing and deadlifting and has fun doing it! Proud to call her my friend and can’t wait to see where her crossfit journey brings her!” – Dani
“Alexa is the kindest, sweetest person at Subversus. She also happens to be super strong and just about my height, which makes sharing a bar with her extra awesome! She was one of my first friends at the gym and training with her at 4:30 almost everyday for almost two years definitely pushes me to work harder. This year she took time to do barbell club and her lifts have never looked better! She is always willing to work hard and always has a positive attitude while doing it! Congrats Alexa, much deserved!!” – Amber
Congratulations from the Coaches!
“Alexa is a leading light for anyone looking to improve themselves and the people around them. She is tremendously focused and dedicated, continually setting and achieving goals, and is always noticing and supporting those around her. Never afraid to try something new or make an adjustment to something comfortable, Alexa sets a great example for our community. Congrats!” – Justin
“Alexa is a great part of our community, very encouraging and thoughtful when it comes to noticing other members’ progress. She is quick to praise others efforts, before her own – which can be a slight disservice, because she is incredibly hard working and focused on improving. It’s a great win, for an even better member 🙂 “ – Morgan
“Alexa is one hell of an athlete. Always working. Always. Everywhere. She’ll be in Olympic Lifting. Then gymnastics. Then all of a sudden a local competition. Then back to a regular WOD. I can’t keep up, and I love that.” – Tim
“Always smiling and always pushing herself – that’s combination that’s hard to beat for anyone who wants to not only improve themselves, but others around them. That’s what Alexa brings to class every day. Brava!” – Wylie
